Find out how to
access the internet

Affordable internet connections

To connect to the internet, you need either a data package through a mobile phone, or a broadband connection in your home. Getting Oxfordshire Online has links to national organisations that are negotiating the best deals for people on low incomes.

We are able to provide SIM cards with 6-months free calls and data via the Vodafone charities.connected scheme – more information about the social tariffs that many networks offer to those in financial need can be found on this Ofcom page.

We hope to be able to offer further support in future, and are optimistic about developments including the Good Things Foundation’s National Data Bank.

If your organisation can help people with the cost of connectivity, we would love to hear from you!
