Keep learning any time

There are lots of great teams helping people week-in-week out, so if you aren’t able to get involved with one of these events but know someone who’d benefit from support, here are a few groups you can check with any time:
  • Our support page – we’re in the process of updating this listing but we have details of various local groups or national schemes supporting here in Oxfordshire
  • Oxfordshire Libraries – our libraries have free-to-use computers (if you have a library card, your sessions are extended to 2hrs), and many run drop-in sessions with digital helper volunteers. Pop into your local library to see how they can help.
  • NHS Digital Cafes – on the first Monday of every month, the Westgate Library in Oxford hosts a Digital Café in partnership with the NHS, for general IT help including helping people with the NHS app
  • Astons Online – this community group help local people in South Oxfordshire, including weekly drop-ins and regular “themed” meetings. You can sign up to their newsletter to stay in touch.
  • Donnington Silver Surfers – this group at the Donnington Community Centre run friendly IT support sessions every Tuesday

If you’re helping people to get online and would like us to spread the word or add you to our listings, do get in touch at hello@gettingoxfordshireonline.org
