We’re hiring: Head of Digital for SOFEA

A unique opportunity to use your IT skills to make a difference

Our host charity, SOFEA, are hiring! We’re looking for a Head of Digital – a really exciting opportunity for someone with experience in IT to apply your skills to the charity sector.

SOFEA provides a unique mix of education and wellbeing for vulnerable young people, alongside community services such as food distribution and laptop refurbishment, all linked to provide inspiration and work experience to the young people on our programme.

This senior role will look after all the digital elements of our work, including:

• Education – developing a programme to help ensure our young people build the technical and behaviour skills to thrive in our modern, digital world
• Getting Oxfordshire Online – running our laptop refurbishment and distribution service, taking donations of unwanted computers and repairing and refurbishing them to pass on to people in need, and managing our network bringing people across the county together to work on digital inclusion
• IT Service – working with the senior team and our outsourced IT partners (BlueSpires) to ensure that all our staff and volunteers have access to great IT devices and systems to be effective in their work.
