The Oxfordshire Inclusive Economy Partnership (OIEP) is a group of over one hundred organisations working together to create a more equal and sustainable region that creates opportunities and benefits for all people within the county. The Partnership is working to tackle some of our region’s biggest problems to create a fairer environment where everyone can contribute and share in its success. The Partnership’s vision is that Oxfordshire creates opportunities and benefits for all communities and people within our region.
The Partnership launched its new Charter in January 2023. The Partnership hopes that organisations will be inspired to sign its Charter demonstrating support for and commitment to making Oxfordshire a fairer and more inclusive place to live and work. Employers and individuals can make their Charter pledge(s) in 6 areas to support an inclusive Oxfordshire, to contribute to improving all aspects of social mobility and increase shared prosperity for both our communities and residents.
The 6 pledge areas are:
1. Improve training and educational attainment2. Provide fair wages3. Support a local and social economy4. Recruit inclusively5. Opportunities to work6. Sharing resources, skills and assets
You can sign the Charter and select your pledge(s) here.
The Getting Oxfordshire Online project has been highlighted by The Partnership as an accessible, practicable opportunity for organisations to engage with as part of their OIEP Charter pledge, to donate laptops, tablets and phones no longer needed to Getting Oxfordshire Online and pass them on to people who need them.
